Card Swap

Those of you who check in regularly know that I've been involved in another card swap. I joined 5 groups and have shown you the cards I made. Well nearly 2 weeks ago, I got a phone call from the swap hostess saying that someone was no longer participating in the swap and she needed card sets fast. I agreed to take a couple of spots so I had to make a male birthday card and a female birthday card. This is what I came up with

Male Birthday group

Female Birthday Group

Oh and these are all the cards I got back!! What a fantastic group of cards and swappers :-)

I've been card making :-)

Once again I lost my mind and joined a card swap. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy card making and love receiving beautiful cards made by some really talented ladies but I get really stressed when I'm making mine because i want them to be perfect.

This card is for a generic group. The stamp is from Stampin Up! Oh So Lovely stamp set. Cardstock is colormates.

This card is for another generic group. Stamp is from Stampin Up! pocket fun stamp set. Cardstock is bazzill and he paper is My Minds Eye - Bloom & Grow.

This card is for a Christmas group. Cardstock is Stampin Up! purely pomegranite, groovy guava and white. Stamp is from Stampin Up! Season of Joy stamp set.

This is for a Birthday Boy Group. Cardstock is colormates and the stamps are from Stampin Up! Big Bold Birthday stamp set.

This is for a Birthday Girl group. Cardstock is from colormates and the Birthday cake is one of my cutting files. This file can be purchased separately or as part of my Party Time Bundle

There is one more card that I made but it was for a secret swap so I can't share it until the receiver of the card figures out who made it.

Christmas Ornaments

I'm just taking a break from the pool side files for a couple of days because I thought I would share these files because they will be on That's Scrap Inc before the pool files.

I made theses files because I wanted to make some of my own Christmas decorations this year. Because I cant cut chipboard I have cut several layers in cardstock and glued them together to make them sturdier. I also flipped the file to make a backing for the ornaments which also allowed me to encase the string. These files could also be used to make beautiful Christmas cards.

Last of my Christmas cards for the swap

These are the last of my cards that I've made for the Christmas cards swap that I joined, its not due till the middle of November but I can't wait for all the beautiful cards that others have made to start arriving in my letter box :-)

This one is made from bazzill cardstock and uses the Tim Holtz "Just Believe" stamp set and the genuine article stamp is from Stampin up. I was going for a whole "Polar Express" type theme so I've decided to hang a sleigh bell from the ribbon when I make the rest.

I can't even begin to list the products I've used on this card, there are so many of them. This card was my chance to experiment with different products and techniques and it sure was fun to create.

I'm going on a craft retreat this weekend so I will not be around to answer any emails. I will reply on Monday if anyone has any queries or questions.

Christmas cards - religious / nativity

I've joined 2 religious / nativity Christmas card groups.
This one is made with Stampin up cardstock in "purely pomegranate" and "wild wasabi" as well as pearlized paper. The stamp set is from inkadinkado and I've used gold embossing powder. The ribbon is just from my collection and the bible phrase is printed off the computer.

This card is made with stampin up cardstock in "soft sky" and "blue bayou" as well as brown bazzill. The picture is a painting by Seward which I printed out and distressed. The fibre is hemp and the stamp is from an inkadinkado set.

Christmas Card - traditional colours

Well Rhonda's home and (has minimal damage) the "Lets Fly bundle" is now available on That's Scrap Inc. I've decided to keep sharing my cards this week to give her a break and I'll start posting files again next week.
Any way this is a card I made for a traditional colours Christmas card swap. Its made with bazzill cardstock, pearlized paper, red glitter and a couple of layered primas with liquid glass on them to make the shiny. the centre of the flower is a kaiser craft half pearl and the stamp is Stampin Up's All about Christmas jumbo roller used with handsome hunter ink.
The scallop edge on the card is cut on my craft robo so if anyone wants this simple file follow the link for the download. This file is available in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG & WPC.

Bee with honeycomb lattice

I made this file to go with the "sweet as honey" title but included the words in case anyone wanted to use it for a card. The words I've included are just a couple of cute little buzzy things to give people an idea of titles to write. This file could also be used as an embellishment or stick a bit of vellum over it for a cute journal box.
