Karon's Jam Session Title Layout

Here is another fabulos layout by Karon. For this layout she has used my "Jam Session Title" which can be purchased separately or as part of the "Jam Session Bundle". You can probably see that she has also been giving my free Scalloped Square file a workout LOL

Karon's "Trimming the Tree" Layout

One of the reasons I reworked the "Trimming the Tree" file was because Karon wanted to use it on a layout. This is what she came up with

Brrrr!! Blizzard

These files were made because of a request from a customer. They were actually made to go with pages of her sons ice hockey team called the Blizzard but I thought they would also be useful for anyone who has taken photo's of snow, ice, frost etc. If the Blizzard part of the title doesn't work for you try just the Brrrr!! or create your own words to match the icy looking Mr Frost.

Brrrr!! Blizzard = $3.49

Octopus's Garden Layout

As promised here is the layout I made using my Octopus's Garden file. I've also used Scrapbookcircus's Seaweed Pack. These pages are from Phuket Aquarium but I hope you can see how it could easily be adapted for beach, rock pool, snorkelling, under water photo's as well

Octopus's Garden

I had a little "Beatles" inspiration when I made these files :-) I've actually used them for an aquarium page but think the could be used for other things just by adding a few words. Try

"Exploring an Octopus's Garden" for looking around rocks at the beach, snorkelling or
"Playing in an Octopus's Garden" for splashing in a rock pool or
"Just like an Octopus's Garden", "Viewing an Octopus's Garden", "Learning about an Octopus's Garden" for the aquarium. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. I'll share my layout on Friday if anyone wants to see how I used the file.

Trimming the Tree Title

People who have been following my blog for a while might recognise this file. This file was removed from the blog over 6 months ago because it just would not convert cleanly to any other format. This file has been completely re-worked and designed from scratch in KNK GE studio, the lines are now a lot cleaner and it cut beautifully in all formats. This titles and the currency bundle are now available on That's Scrap Inc.

Trimming the Tree Title = $2.99

Currency Layout

This is the layout I created with my money that I saved from our holiday and the Currency Bundle. I'm hoping that our family will go overseas again next year and I intend to save these files and re-use them for my next lot of currency layouts. I think it's a great addition to my album so next time you are lucky enough to travel you might want to think about keeping some currency as a souvenier for your albums. The pages look really nice next to each other but for some reason blogger doesn't like the picture and keeps rotating it :(

Currency Bundle

Here are the currency files all bundled together. You get the nine symbols, two borders and two titles. Like I said earlier the included symbols do not represent the currencies of every country but they do cover well over 100 countries.

Currency Bundle = $3.99

Currency Titles

Here are the titles to go with the borders and elements. I'm sure these files all seems a bit strange to most of you but I will show you my pages tomorrow and hopefully all will make sense :-)

Currency Border Horizontal

After I had finished making the vertical border I decided I wanted a horizontal one for my pages. This is the border that I ended up using on my pages.

Vertical Currency Border

This is the first thing I've made with all the currency elements. Its a 12 inch border designed to be used vertically on a page

Currency elements

I know it might seem strange to some but one of the souveniers that I bought home from Thailand was money. I find foriegn currency facsinating, I think it can tell you so much about a country seeing as most currency normally feature past presidents or current monarchy's or historical figures significant to the place you've visited. My fascination started at an early age when my Grangma would send me pound notes for my birthday or Christmas presents. Some of these would get converted into Australian dollars and spent but some of them I kept just to look at. Anyway, because I've saved this money for scrapping I thought I should make some files to showcase them in my album. Below is a whole heap of international currency symbols. They do not cover every country in the world but combined with a few basic letters these symbols can represent the currency's of over 120 countries. Check in over the week to see what I do with these symbols.

This first one is of Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand. I've used my paradise rectangle mesh and Paradise Title files.

This layout is of Wat Chalong, the largest Buddhist temple on the island of Phuket. For this layout I've used the circles and sticks bundle

Introducing Karon's Layouts :-)

As I told you all a little while ago a lady called Karon is having a go at being a one woman creative team. Karon is a lovely lady who lives in Kansas USA and has 2 children about the same age as mine. Karon's scrapping style is completely different to mine and I think her work is a fabulous way to show you all an alternative way to use my files.

This page uses files from my "Book bundle"

This page uses my "flourish border" and the free basic borders available for download HERE

This page uses my monkey title which is available separately or as part of the "Monkey Bundle"

Thankyou for your gorgeous work Karon and I can't wait to see more of it :-)

Butterfly Bundle

Well here are all the butterfly files all bundled together. These files along with all the other files I've posted in January are now available on That's Scrap Inc These files would be a perfect addition to a page featuring photos of butterflys, spring gardens or little girls. They could also be used with a title like "Spread your wings and fly" for a more soul searching layout about children or young adults.

Butterfly Bundle = $5.99
