Presents

Here is another party related file :) This file could be used for birthdays, Christmas or even gift opening from a wedding etc. Would also make a nice addition to the front of a card. This file is available separately but will also form part of the "Party Time Bundle".

Party Time Title

A few weeks before we left for Thailand was my daughters birthday. Even though it was the last thing I wanted to do we had to throw her a party because we had cancelled her party last year (due to naughty behaviour). Anyway the point of all this yapping is to show you the title I made for her party pages. The party hat and blower are also included in the file separately for versatility. There are a couple more files to come which will combine with this title to make a "Party Time Bundle" for those who prefer to purchase this way. Other than the obvious birthday pages this file could also be used for New Years or any other sought of celebration. Hope you like :)

Circles and Sticks

Because I've been unwell I haven't been that creative although I am cutting another bundle as I write :). For those of you who keep an eye on That's Scrap Inc you would have already seen these files. I made these while I was in Thailand because I wanted to create a set of files that would look at home on a male page. As much as flowers and flourishes are beautiful they really don't suit a masculine themed page.

Jam Session Bundle

This is the completed "Jam Session Bundle". It feature both the drummer and the guitarist paper piecings as well as the jam session title. I hope you all like it :) Use it for pictures of band or instrument practice or for when you kids pretend to play with your saucepans and spatulas. Also perfect for a family game of Guitar Hero. This file has already been uploaded to That's Scrap Inc for anyone who is interested.

Jam Session Bundle = $5.99 AUD

Jam Session Layout

This is the layout I made with all the files from the Jam Session Bundle. I only made a single page layout because I didn't have many photos and because this was such a small part of our holiday that I didn't really want to spread it over 2 pages. In my opinion though there is definitely enough pieces to make a really nice double page layout.

Jam Session

I'm a bit late posting today because I'm not very well. I've been fighting off the flu for a few days but it appears to have taken hold and I've spent the whole day in bed.
Anyway this is the title I made to go with the 2 previous paper piecings. It is available separately but will also combine with the other 2 files to make a bundle that I will post later this week.
Jam Session Title = $1.99

Guitarist

This paper piecing is perfect for enhancing any pages featuring your little rock star, or even a family session of guitar hero. It would even compliment some candid photos of an air guitar session. This file will also be part of the "Jam Session Bundle".

Drummer

This groovy drummer would go great with photos of your teenagers rocking out on the real thing or with photos of your toddler practicing on your saucepans. I've made this file because my kids were recently let loose in a music studio, EEEEKKK and I have a few photos to scrap :) This file is available on its own and it will also be part of the "Jam Session Bundle". I will show you the rest of the files in the bundle over the next week.

Elephant Layouts

As promised here are the layouts that I created using files from the elephant bundle.

DPS

LHS

RHS.
This layout was from our morning spent elephant trekking in Thailand. All I did was add some simple letters under the title to personalize it for my layout. You could easily change the words to make it suit what you're scrapping about.
One of my daughters goals before we left for our holiday was to kiss a baby elephant. Well she achieved her goal and I definitely needed to scrap it so I used the other title and the elephant that I hadn't used on the previous layout. The extra love hearts are just the heart from the title resized and scattered on the page. This page could easily be used to scrap baby photo's, wedding picks or just a kiss. Put a cute spin on your love pages

Elephant Bundle

This bundle contains both elephant titles, all 3 elephant paper piecings and the leaves for embellishing your pages. As with other files it comes in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG & WPC file formats. I have sent them to the US so they should be on "That's Scrap Inc" shortly for those that prefer purchasing from there.

Elephant Titles

Now every page needs a title and I've created 2 to go with the elephants

This one incorporates the leaves and comes as either "Elephant" or "Elephants". I've made it so it can be versatile and personalised by just adding a few simple words. For me it is going to be "Elephant Trek" but it could be "Elephant Show", "Majestic Elephants", "Toronga Zoo Elephants" or anything else you can come up with. Its hard to see in the scan but the title is actually double mounted.
I've made this title for people who don't actually have elephant photo's to scrap but like thinking outside the square. I can see this title being used on a new born baby page with some of the elephants and some journalling about how incredible it is that someone so small can evoke so much love. This same concept could be adapted to any page including wedding pages or anything else where you want to use a cute concept to express great emotion.
I think the elephants would also be cute on a pregnancy page with a title like "Thankfully I'm not an Elephant". I'm not saying this to be mean but Elephants are pregnant for 22 months and I think some journalling about how incredible it has been to be pregnant and watching your body change but how thankful you are that it is only 9 months.
Over the weekend I'll put my pages together. On Monday I will post my layouts and the completed bundle with price.
Elephant Titles = $2.99 AUD (for both titles together)

Leaves

I've made these leaves to go with my elephant pages but of course they could be used on any outdoors page or anything nature related. They have been cut in 3 shade of bazzil basics and have had some chalking to enhance them.

Elephants

These are the first files I have created for my elephant trek photos from Thailand. The head only file was adapted from clipart while the other 2 files are completely my own creation. These elephants were cut in 2 shades of grey bazzil basics cardstock and the white and black are colormates cardstock. They have been chalked however I did put them together without chalk to start with to make sure they would look great for people who choose not to chalk. These files are available as a group but will also form part of the elephant bundle.

My Scrapbooking evolution

Scrapbooking started for me (like half the scrapbooking community) after I was invited to a friends Creative Memories party. Creative Memories produces great product and I have been a loyal customer for quite some time but in the last 12 months I have definitely felt the need to expand my scrapping repertoire. I think some things will never change (I don't do lumpy bumpy in my albums) but other things have already started to change. I've been experimenting with different cardstock because I'm frustrated by the lack of colors available through CM and have fallen in love with colormates cardstock. This cardstock cuts so beautifully that its hard for me to imagine how I coped before I discovered it. This week I've also given bazzil a go and am also impressed with how it cuts. I have avoided bazzil for years because of all the internet chatter about how the craft robo doesn't cut it well, my experience this week has been that the chatter is wrong. I've also started experimenting with chalking as you may have noticed on the coastal files. This is something I definitely want to continue and will hopefully get better at as time goes on.

With my Thailand album I've decided to embrace some of these new things. I had such a great time on my holiday so I want my album to be a work of art (or at least I'm going to try) Because of this my files might change a little. I'm still going to do my titles but I also want to make other elements to go on the pages as well. I will try to keep them flexible and will make most of them available individually as well as making a complete page bundle for those who want all the elements.

The first Thailand page I'm working on is the elephant trek that we went on. Here is a photo from that day. I'm on the front elephant with Jackson and Steve (my husband) and Deanna are on the elephant set back slightly.

I will start posting the files for this page next week and hope you all enjoy seeing what I create. I will also show you the finished pages as I get them done as well. I also hope you all jump in and let me know if you don't like the way my files are heading.
