To chalk or not to chalk..............

For the last 12 months or so I've been chalking my files before scanning.
Why?........because some very talented ladies convinced me they would look better that way and because they were right :-)

I understand that not everyone chalks there cuts and have had some people ask what the files look like just assembled.

I'm not going to double scan every file I make but I thought I would share the dinosaurs with and without the chalking. As you can see they are still a cute and usable cut even without the chalking.

Stegosaurus

No set of dinosaurs is complete without some version of a stegosaurus. This little fellow is my version of the spiky backed critter.

Triceratops

This triceratops is the second dinosaur that I've made. He'll eventually be bundled with some other dinosaurs and will also form part of a pre-historic bundle.

Diplodocus

I needed some dinosaurs for a couple of pages so I decided to make them. This is the first dinosaur that I came up with and I personally think he's cute. There are more dinosaurs to come and some other pre-historic files to go with them.

Well here they are all grouped and packaged :-). I've already loaded these files on to TSI for anyone who is interested and I'm joyfully playing with my layout so that I can share it with you all.

Pirate title

This is the title I made to go with my pirate paper piecing. I only made the basic word (in singular and plural) so you could all ad a few of your own words to personalise it. For me the title will read "Pirate Camp" but it could just as easily be "Pirate Costume", "Pirate Party", "My little Pirate's" etc etc.

Ohh take a close look..........do you like that the "P" has a wooden leg :-), I think its cute

My daughter went to her first scout camp last year and the theme of the camp was pirates. I've made this paper piecing to go on my layout as well as a versatile pirate title that I will share later this week.

Mini Golf Layout

I haven't completed a layout for a while. I just haven't had the time or felt the motivation. Anyway this morning I decided to finish off a layout that I started a few weeks ago. The photos are of my family playing mini golf at Mingara. The files are from my "Golfing Bundle"
