Trimming the Tree Layout

This is a layout that I made using both my "Trimming the Tree Title" and Scrapbookcircus's "Christmas Mice Who Tangles the Lights?!" collection. The photos are of my kids starting to decorate the house for Christmas.........last year.

The papers are basicgrey and the cardstock is bazzil.

FREE!!!! 12 inch ricrac border / ribbon

At some point, whilst I was making cards, I decided I wanted to cut a simple ricrac strip of paper instead of traipsing down to the craft shop and trying to find the exact colour ribbon. Well I never ended up using the ricrac on my cards but I made the file so I thought I would share.

Downloading this could mean you never have to buy ricrac again *grin*

zip file contains AI, GSD, KNK, SCUT, SVG, WPC cutter file formats.

Card Swap

Those of you who check in regularly know that I've been involved in another card swap. I joined 5 groups and have shown you the cards I made. Well nearly 2 weeks ago, I got a phone call from the swap hostess saying that someone was no longer participating in the swap and she needed card sets fast. I agreed to take a couple of spots so I had to make a male birthday card and a female birthday card. This is what I came up with

Male Birthday group

Female Birthday Group

Oh and these are all the cards I got back!! What a fantastic group of cards and swappers :-)

Portrait Title Layout

This is the layout I made using my "Potrait Title" As you can see I've cut a few simple letters to make the title explain the photo. This was Jackson's last pre-school photo and scrapping it made me realise that my babies aren't babies anymore.

Portrait Title

I made this title to go on a page with my sons pre-school portrait. You could use it with any portrait photo and personalise it by adding a word or 2 on or before the title.

Family Portrait
School Portrait
Christmas Portrait
First Portrait
Baby Portrait
Candid Portrait
Puppy Portrait
etc etc etc
are just a few examples. The possibilities are as varied as the portraits you take. The film is also included separately so you can use it as an embellishment elsewhere on the page or on a different page altogether.

This file is available in AI, GSD, KNK, SCUT, SVG, WPC cutting file formats.

Portrait Title = $2.99

School Mesh Bundle

Here are all the school mesh files all bundled together. If you like them all then this is definitely the most economical way of purchasing them all. I have uploaded this bundle and all the single files to That's Scrap Inc so they are now available for purchase.

School Mesh - 6 by 12 inch Vertical border / overlay

This is the file that I wanted to make when I first started drawing the elements that combine to make all the school mesh files. I wanted this file to act as a half page embellishment for my daugthers 2008 school photos. Hopefully I'll get the page scrapped soon and be able to show you how it turns out. I'm busy all weekend but I'll try and bundle all the mesh files together and give you a combined price if you want them all, on Monday.

School Mesh - 6 by 12 inch Vertical border = $3.99

School Mesh - Square and Rectangle

and here are some more of the School Mesh files :-)

The square was test cut at 4 x 4 inches and the rectangle was test cut at 6 x 4 meaning that these files will cut beautifully for card makers but can also be enlarged for scrappers *grin*

These files are available in AI, GSD, KNK, SCUT, SVG, WPC cutting file formats.

School Mesh - 2 by 12 inch horizontal border

Well there is no point in making only a vertical file because some layouts / projects really need a horizontal border. I'm thinking these files would make and excellent addition to an end of school altered project gift for a teacher. I'll have to get working on that *grin*

This file is available in AI, GSD, KNK, SCUT, SVG, WPC cutting file formats.

School Mesh - 2 by 12 inch horizontal border = $2.49

School Mesh - 2 x 12 inch vertical border

This is the first in a whole group of school meshes. I hope you like it. This file comes in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG, SCUT & WPS cutting file formats. Wow that's a real mouthful *grin*. This file and the ones I'll share over the week would be perfect additions to school, pre-school, teaching and education based projects and pages.

Sure-cuts-a-lot V2.0 is in da house!!!

I never purchases V1.0 because I thought the program was to limiting. Not to mention a PITA when you are trying to use multi layered files. Well now that they have upgraded the program and you can choose to only cut one layer at a time I thought why not add it to my ever growing list of computer software.

What does this mean????

Well it means that from now on every file I post will not only come in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG & WPC cutting formats they will also come in SCUT!!!

I am not planning on going back and converting all my older files. They do already contain a SVG version of the file so they can be used by cricut owners. Because not all files will contain a scut version I will make SCAL a label on this blog so those interested will easily be able to see which ones are available.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because I purchased SCAL V.2.0 my .scut files will not open in V1.0. Those cricut owners wishing to use my files and not wishing to upgrade their software will have to continue using the .svg file.

I Dig Dino's Layout

This is the first layout that I've completed using elements from my Pre-Historic Bundle. The photos are of my kids working on their dinosaur excavation kits that they got for Christmas. The paper is Basicgrey Archaic and BoBunny Xtreme black grunge. All cardstock is bazzill and extra wording is done on my dymo. I've also used faux brads on this layout by punching 1/4 and 1/8 inch circles out of coordinating cardstock.

August N'Titled File 2

I made 2 versions of this file because it appears that not everyone in the world refers to a Barbecue the way Aussies do. Anyway what ever word you use these files are all about outdoor cooking. Try adding a few words before or after it to make it suit your purpose. "Worlds best BBQ cook" for photos of the man in your life with an apron on, "Family BBQ" for when you have everyone around etc etc
