Tee-ball layout

This is the layout I've made with the baseball bits and pieces that I've posted lately. I'm still using old CM pages so the width isn't quite 12 inches so rather than re cut the bat Ive just trimmed a bit off it. I didn't have many photo's to scrap so I've squished into into a single page but you could easily stretch the elements over a double page spread. Baseball Bundle

I've made the baseball accessories to go with the titles I posted on Monday. The baseball bat is 12 inches long so would make a great border or page divider or simply resize it for a smaller embellishment. These paper piecings will be available separately or as a bundle with the titles.

Fonts and things

I've had a few customers email me recently asking which font I've used to make a title so they can make accompanying words etc. Now the truth is that I have so many fonts that I can't remember which one I used for most of my titles. In my opinion you are better off going for a completely different font to make accompanying words because I think its more effective. Below I've made a couple of screen shots of the title I posted yesterday with some extra words in a different font. For these I have just grabbed the first font I came across and made some simple welded words to personalise the title for a couple of different needs.

Baseball Titles

Earlier this year my 7yr old daughter started playing Tee-ball as an after school activity. Like a good scrapbooker I went along to training and took photos so I needed a title to go with them. While I was making a tee-ball title I thought I might as well make the words "soft" and "base" to go with it so it was more versatile. These titles are BIG and stretch the full way across a 12 x12 page. They could be cut smaller but if you chose to do this I would suggest that you didn't cut the red stitching on the balls but instead drew them in. I have also made some paper piecings to with these titles which I will post later in the week.

Free Scalloped Square File

I thought I would end the week with another freebie :-). This is the scalloped square to go with the scalloped circle I posted a couple of weeks ago. This file comes in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG & WPC cutting formats and is available HERE. I've made this file in various sizes so it could be used for scrap booking or card making, if you own a 12 inch cutter expand the size and use it to scallop a whole page. Happy cutting

Fraidy Bunch Page Kit

I realised to day that after all that posting yesterday I didn't actually put up the page kit. Anyway here it is and it contains all 6 Halloween squares, the title and the sketches to give you ideas on how to put your page together. I've also included a spider web square without the spider welded in. You could use these files to make a page like mine or to embellish any spooky page you design yourself. The squares would also make gorgeous additions to Halloween cards, banners and festivities. So have you got the idea now. This is meant to be a nice play on the "Brady Bunch" and would be a cute way to showcase your family this Halloween. As I stated before I got this idea from a lady called Lisa and here is a LINK to her original design. Anyway this is what I've come up with but you of course can use the elements in anyway you like.

Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner and although we don't traditionally celebrate it in Australia I thought I would mark the occasion anyway :-)

A very creative lady called Lisa on scrapshare created a page which I just loved the concept of so with her kind permission I'm taking that concept and turning it into my first ever page kit. All will be revealed as I post more files and the sketches to go with them but for the moment here is a couple of Halloween squares which will form part of the layout but would also be a great way to create Halloween cards.

Pumpkin Picking Title

Here is the title that goes with the pumpkin vine border and the pumpkin man files.

its not yet time for snowmen but its definitely time for pumpkin men. This file comes like the pumpkin man on the right but I've included the leaves in the file as well so you can decorate your man or your page with leaves cut in all the changing colours. These will make a cute addition to any Halloween of Fall / Autumn page.

Pumpkin Vine - border

In Australia winter is over and spring has well and truly started but I am fully aware that for the majority of people that look at my blog this is not the case. Fall / Autumn is in the air, the leaves are turning and the pumpkins are ready to be harvested and carved for Halloween. We don't traditionally celebrate Halloween but from US friends that I have, I believe that the pumpkin harvest leading into this time of year is quite a family experience. I've made this file and a couple of others that will be bundled together and only available on That's Scrap Inc.

Free Scalloped Circles Cutter File

Are you sick of paying extra for scalloped paper and card stock or fed up with having to purchase lots of different punches to make smaller scalloped circles. I've made this file because as owners of cutters we should never have to pay for things like that. You are of course limited by how large your cutter can cut and for me that limit is 8 1/2 inches but for a lot of you your limit is 12 inches so you could turn any 12 x 12 sheet of paper into a scalloped circle. Within the file there are 7 scalloped circles which vary in size from 2 - 8 1/2 inches. For those of you who want larger or smaller circles that the ones I have made feel free to resize them to what suits your project. This cutting file comes in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG & WPC.

Monkey Bundle

Hi everyone :-) I know I don't normally post on the weekends but I felt the need to finish this bundle off and have it all posted so I could start with new files on Monday. I know I've been showing you all my layouts when I post the bundles but the truth is I haven't got all my monkey photos even printed yet and because I'm stretching these files over 2 layouts I didn't want to show you only one layout with only half the files. I will post the layouts when I get them done. Anyway here it is the "Monkey Bundle" which contains all the files I've posted this and last week. This is my first title to go with my monkey paper piecing's. I'm going to be using this title with the photo's we took of the monkey show in Thailand.
